As a founding member of the Themis Resource Fund Lynn helps connect detransitioned plaintiffs in the U.S. with legal representation, providing financial support for litigation to address harms allegedly caused by affirmative gender treatments.

It is time to reject the term "trans identified" because, like other progeny of gender identity ideology, it a queer newspeak word that helps spread the contagion throughout society. Its bizarrely passive voice (who is doing the identifying?) is in keeping with the unnatural quality of the trans movement and its victims.
"Trans identified" means that a person identifies with a gender that is different from the sex they were assigned at birth. To say "trans identified" is to assent with two falsehoods: first, that there is such a thing as gender; and secondly, that one can declare independence from the laws of biology.
A better term would be "estranged from [his/her/their (plural)] sex" e.g., "She is the mother of two children who are estranged from their sex." Here, sex is used in a way that leaves no room for confusion with sexuality. The phrase has the uncontrovertible benefit of being securely rooted in biology, not genderqueer vapor. It also emphasizes that "trans" is both a state of mind and a condition that violates social norms. Moreover, estrangement always implies that the actor has ruptured an important relationship with one or more people.
