Sometimes an Act of Courage Changes Everything
Genspect Welcomes Dr. Eithan Haim to Detrans Awareness Day 2025 on Capitol Hill
After years of failed attempts to invite Dr. Haim, the medical director of Genspect USA, due to his legal battles and resulting court appearances and travel restrictions, Genspect is thrilled to finally welcome him in person to speak at Detrans Awareness Day on Capitol Hill.
Dr. Haim will speak on the current state of medical harm experienced by those who sought “gender-affirming care”, and discuss better treatment pathways for individuals with gender dysphoria.
It is hard to comprehend how much progress has been made over the past few weeks, from the Executive Order on Gender Ideology to the dismissal of the charges against Dr. Haim but progress does not just happen. Dr. Haim’s story is one of profound personal courage, but also one of cooperation, with Americans uniting to stand up against injustice and for the truth. Genspect believes we can achieve similar progress for detransitioners. Now is the time to reckon with the human cost of trans ideology.
Detrans Awareness Day on Capitol Hill will bring together medical professionals, parents, citizens, and politicians from across the political spectrum to listen to detransitioners, understand their unique challenges, and discuss the implications for law, policy, and future support for individuals experiencing gender distress.
We want to ensure that everyone understands the truth about "detransitioners" and the toll that trans ideology has taken on their bodies, their families, and their lives. This includes:
How the experimental interventions they received have harmed them;
How the indifference of medical associations has left them in limbo;
How activists have tried to silence them;
How poor school policies, bad therapy, and ideologically motivated clinicians continue to push young people down a path from which there is no return.
Detransitioners show immense courage, and their stories are crucial for crafting informed, humane policies that protect children, adolescents, and vulnerable adults.
Excellent news.
Hero. Stunning and brave. In the flesh. The real McCoy. Inspirational.
