Sasha Ayad is a Licensed Professional Counselor with 15 years of experience, specializing in helping adolescents navigate gender identity issues. She advocates for non-invasive therapy over medical transitions and co-hosts the "Gender: A Wider Lens Podcast." Ayad is also a founding member of the Society for Evidence-based Gender Medicine and co-authored "When Kids Say They’re Trans," offering a psychological approach to gender dysphoria for parents.
