I wonder, will verdicts such as this have any impact on AMA and AAP policy.

This is going to be used to say it's not ok if you don't follow wpath... implying it's ok if you do.
Nevermind how wpath suppressed the evidence that didn't find what they wanted. Or how they changed the age recommendations due to political pressure. Or how they added the words medically necessary all over the place for insurance purposes, not because of medical necessity. All reliably documented.
We're not there yet, not was long as blue states consider wpath reliable.
The statute of limitations needs to be extended as a matter of urgency across all States.
There should be no hesitation or pushback unless they think it might actually be used
